A spectacular gap to drive through or walk up. The deepest wind gap on the Blue Mountain. Wind Gap Alt. at the Appalachian Trail (AT) & Pa. Rt. 33 is 962’ but this seems to have been cut down about 20’ for the road grade.

The top of the “gap” on topographic maps shows as 1490' Then SB on the AT there is a notch & a short rise to 1527’ at nearby Hahn’s Lookout which is out of sight from the bottom of the gap. Pa Rt. 115 has a parking lot & also goes through the gap. I have never see any signage on the gap proper, but the town to the south on Rt. 115 uses the name.
A wind gap is a valley through which a waterway once flowed but is now dry as a result of stream capture.
Elevation (Official or GPSR reading): 962
 Mountain Range: Appalachian
Access: Appalachian Trail, Pa. Rt. 115
