A north-south street (unnamed) runs east of S. Water, south of E. Dewey in downtown Sapulpa. In the alley behind a brick building facing this unnamed street is this serendipitous find. It is painted on a concrete block filled in opening at the back of the building. It shows a large brown hill with two young girls playfully scampering across the top fo the hill. One is running with a kite; the other is leaping for several butterflies in the air. The cloud, butterflies and the girls are in relief.
At the lower left of the mural, letters have been affixed to the concrete wall. They read "Oh To Be Small Again." The letters for the artist's name have fallen off. This mural is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face, particularly when you come across it unexpectedly.
