In order to access this trail you must acquire a daily use pass. This can be obtained from one of two places. Just the Right Gear on Rt 311 on the way to the parking lot or from the main boat dock off of Williamson Road in Northeast Roanoke County.

Short description of trail:
Carvins Cove Natural Reserve is the top 3rd largest city owned park in the U.S. At 12,000 acres, the Cove hosts over 30 miles of pure singletrack and dynamite fire roads. Within 25 minutes of downtown Roanoke, cyclists from all over Southwest Virginia and beyond come to experience the trail system.
