The Missouri State Museum is housed on the first floor of the State Capitol building and has extensive Civil War exhibits among its collections.

The State of Missouri was a divided state during the Civil War, providing
units to both sides. The Missouri State Museum captures some of this divided
history in its collection including a collection of 125 Civil War battle flags.
Admission Fees: Free.
Open to Public: Daily: except Jan. 1, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Tours
are available from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. and 1 p.m.-4 p.m., every half hour weekdays and every hour on Sat., Sun., and some holidays. There are no signs saying where to to enter museum, enter to the left or right of the stairway shown in picture and go in carriage way under stairway.
