A particularly fine example of an 1880’s built Victorian home that has been exceptionally well restored by the current owners.

This home was built in 1880 and purchased by James McCort, founder of the McCort Oil Company which, in 1904 became part of The Canadian Oil Companies Ltd (“White Rose gasoline”) and eventually, in 1962, Shell Oil.

The home remained in the McCort family until 1960 when it was turned into two apartments. The home was then purchased by the present owners who have lovingly restored it to a single dwelling, making it one of the finest Victorian homes you will see anywhere. Look carefully and you’ll spot the White Rose visible gas pump in the grounds.
