This sundial is at the top of a decorative gable on the south-eastern facade of a villa-like residential house at 10 Bielefelder Strasse. The sundial is made to look like a gleaming, golden sun with a face in the middle, the gnomon sticks out from the mouth like a long cigarette and casts a shadow on the curved dial below. The sundial is but one of the many interesting architectural features of this remarkable building that is listed as a construction monument. Coordinates are on the sidewalk in front of the house.

Diese Sonnenuhr befindet sich an der Spitze eines Ziergiebels auf der Südostseite des Hauses Bielefelder Straße 10. Sie ist wie eine strahlend goldene Sonne mit einem Gesicht in der Mitte gestaltet. Der Zeiger steckt im Mund wie eine lange Zigarette und wirft einen Schatten auf das halbbogenförmige Ziffernblatt darunter. Die Sonnenuhr ist nur eines der vielen architektonischen Details des sehenswerten denkmalgeschützten Gebäudes. Die Koordinaten wurden auf dem Bürgersteig vor dem Haus auf Höher der Sonnenuhr eingemessen.
