The final resting place of Milton M. Lewinsohn is at the southeast corner of the Hebrew Cemetery which is near the center of Fairlawn Cemetery. His is a horizontal marker with the following text:

1886: After almost 30 years of fighting, Apache leader Geronimo surrenders with his last band of warriors to General Nelson Miles at Skeleton Canyon in Arizona.
1896: The New York State Legislature passes the Raines Law, restricting Sunday alcoholic beverage sales to hotels.
1906: San Francisco earthquake (estimated magnitude 7.8) on the San Andreas Fault destroys much of San Francisco, California, USA, killing at least 3,000, with 225,000–300,000 left homeless, and $350 million in damages.
1916: The light switch is invented by William J. Newton and Morris Goldberg.
1926: Agatha Christie disappears from her home in Surrey; on December 14 she is found at a Harrogate hotel.
1936: The longest game in the history of the National Hockey League was played. The Montreal Maroons and Detroit Red Wings went scoreless until 16 and a half minutes into the sixth OT when Mud Bruneteau ends it at 2:25 in the morning. It would be the longest game until May 4, 2000.
1946: In his speech at Westminster College, in Fulton, Missouri, Winston Churchill talks about the Iron Curtain.
1956: The Broadway musical My Fair Lady opens in New York City.
1966: It's a Small World opens at Disneyland.
