The beach is well known for its excellent windsurfing and views of the large coral reef that rings the island. Nearby waters range between four and 100 feet in depth. Snorkeling can be good, but you need to swim out for about 50 yards to get to the better snorkeling spots.
There's lots of parking and shade provided by trees. The main parking location has a bathroom, showers and camping ground.
