The current Holland Hotel, designed by Trost & Trost and built in 1928, was added to the original Holland & State National Bank Building on the corner of 6th and Holland. The original, built in 1912 after the fire, rapidly became the business and social center of Alpine. (emphasis added). Link to brochure, see item # 13.

Alpine State Bank,Converted to a national bank under title of “State National Bank”, on 1-5-1923; opened 5-6-1907.
On the building is a sign that has a photo of "The Old Holland". Note the sign above the corner entrance, it reads Alpine State Bank.
