Die Wasserwand befindet sich nicht weit vom Heuberg. Der Aufstieg führt über die Daffnerwaldalm zum Heuberg und dann über einen Klettersteig der Wertung A hoch zum Gipfelkreuz. Der Klettersteig ist kurz und mit Drahtseilen gesichert. Da er teilweise ausgesetzt ist sollte er nur bei absoluter Schwindelfreiheit und einer gewissen Erfahrung begangen werden. Der Grat rüber zum Gipfel ist sehr schmal.
