The beautiful Second Empire limestone Hamilton County Courthouse has been serving the citizens since it was built in 1887.
Blasterz have always been puzzled about this 1880s courthouse with the Art Deco details - and now we know why: additions on either side of the original building were added in 1931!
The pre-renovation photo credit belongs to the Texas Historic Commission. Blasterz guess that this picture dates from the 19-teens or 1920s.
