Mt. Gibraltar is the prominent mountain to the north east of Bowral. The trig station can be accessed via Oxley Drive from either Bowral or Mittagong, taking the lookout turnoff. You can park opposite the trig by pulling onto the verge (look for the communication towers) or pull into the driveway.
The trig station is on a cement brick pedestal & you can climb up a ladder to have a closer look. The only views are to the west & are minimal because of regrowth. There is a state survey marker at the base of the ladder.
