This sign is on the side of the Capistrano Trading Post at 31741 Camino Capistrano San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675 .... directly across the street from the famous Franciscan Mission.
Beyond its history as a Mission, the site has become well known because it has been the resting/nesting place for migratory swallows which fly 6,000 from Argentina.
The sign depicts four of these swallows and reads:

"Welcome to Capistrano
Jewel of the Missions
Home of the Swallows"
