We welcome you to the Garland Public Library. Almost 100 years ago, Andrew Carnegie provided $8,000 to Garland City for a Public Library. Community members have benefited from Andrew’s generosity throughout the years. Your city government, library staff and library board are continually working to improve the environment and services here at the library. The new library Children’s Room was completed in July of 2007. This change at the library provided more space for adults and children.
