I don't know when the building was built. In the basement of the building the windows that were removed when the building was remodeled are a tempered milk white glass with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation logo with the amount of $10,000. The limit was set at $10,000 in 1950 through 1966.
The safe is still in the basement, manufactured by Herring Hall Marvin Safe Company of Ohio. The safe manufacture was formed by a merger in 1896 and purchased by the Diebold Safe Company in 1959.
There was a safe on the main floor but the door was removed and is used for the office. The Dairyman State Bank built a new building at 135 S. Main Street and moved out of this building in April 1975.
