The clock tower of the Osborne Co. Courthouse has been repaired twice in the last 40 years, but seems to be working now.

According to the Kansas sampler, in 2007 repairs to the clock would take $50,000. When Blasterz were here, the clock showed the right time. Although even broken clocks are right twice a day, we think they have fixed it :)

The clock, run by a 200-pound weight, has a striking mechanism run by a 100-pound weight and a 1,800-pound cast copper alloy bell. The mechanism was restored in 1975 as part of the national bicentennial." [end]
