You can really tell that they are proud of their Post Rocks here, just by looking at the town water tank.

Post Rocks are a specific kind of limestone that can be easily broken along straight lines. KS Territory pioneers used this limestone to built houses and make fence posts because there are so few trees on ghe prairie. These old post rock fenceposts are a unique historic feature of the area, which is how they wound up on the town's water tank!
