The gorgeous Richardsonian Romanesque Mitchell County Courthouse in downtown Beloit KS is a community treasure, well into its second century of service to this community.
This courthouse is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The clock on the Mitchell Co. courthouse tower can be seen for miles around this flat part of central Kansas. It has a round white face, Roman numerals, and delicate hands.
