The Church Sainte-Madeleine de Pallier is located 3 km east of Gentioux. The location is that of a former dependency of the order of Saint-Jean de Jerusalem connected to la commanderie de Charrières and perhaps previously belonged to the Knights Templar.

Located next to the chapel from the 13th century is the cemetery where we can see funerary slabs engraved with the cross of Malta. It is dedicated to Ste Madeleine. There's a cross with Christ on one side and the Virgin Mary on the other.

You can also visit nearby a medieval garden, with its aromatic and medicinal plants, roses, and trees.
