The Union Pacific Depot in Lawrence KS is a mish-mash of architectural styles that nevertheless work well together to create a unique, landmark building.
This beautiful blend of a French Vernacular silhouette with Richardsonian Romanesque masonry served as a depot for almost 100 years, before being sold the to City of Lawrence in 1991 and resrtored.
Now this former Union Pacific depot continues to serve the community as the Lawrence KS visitor center.
