The lonely grave is located in Lake County, South Dakota, on 241st St, about 1 mile east of SD Highway 19. The town of Chester is about 9 miles east of here.
The person buried here was a toddler who died of diptheria in the early 1900s. The family was traveling west and the child suddenly became ill and died.
The locals living in the area didn't remember the family name but they are keeping the grave well maintained. It is located in the fence line on the north side of the road.
