Even gargoylous geckos that look dangerous are most excellent to have around. Geckos bring savings on automobile insurance, drive cats crazy, stick magically to walls and ceilings, and will eat any and every bug that tries to come in your house.
Blasterz LOVE geckos -- especially when the look like gargoyles!! (Blasterz know they are *technically* chimeras -- but geckeras are not playful. They are 1950s Japanese nuclear radiation-created horror-movie monsters -- ha) :)
So what is this guy, exactly?
A chimeko?
A geckera?
A geckomera?
A gechimeko? That last sounds like a wretched Russian bad poet/unsuccessful novelist. HA!!!
The point is, this guy is just F-U-N, and so subtle he is a surprise when you DO see him (like real geckos)!!!
So we are going to call him by the name we think fits him best, that is fun to day and that perfectly captures the essence of this wonderful creature:
A delightful geckoyle slinks down one side of the Romanesque Revivial Douglas County Courthouse in downtown Lawrence KS, just like his live counterparts on the outside of Blaster-GZ.
He is the only such creature on the building, very well-camouflaged on the northeast corner of the clock tower.
Water spout is used: no
