Oakmont United Methodist Church - Oakmont, Pennsylvania
This church serves the small riverside suburb of Oakmont, located Northeast of Pittsburgh. The church has been a mainstay in the community for several years. There are six entrances into the church. Two are on a ramp, two have no steps, and the church also has elevator for moving among the three levels of the church. Oakmont UMC is in the Greensburg District of the Western Pennsylvania Conference and is home a membership of 122. One of the events the church is known for is its annual Mystery Theater dinner, which is shown at three different performances in February. This is the second church for this congregation, which was completed in the mid-1910's, as the first church was too small. The older church is now a apartment builiding
