This is the unique artistic door at the so-called 'Marktkirche' (Market Church), a church in the center of Hannover, Germany, Niedersachsen. The church is located at the 'Marktplatz' (Marketplace).

The Marktkirche was built around 1360. It is the oldest church in Hannover.

The door is made of bronze with several engravements. It has been created by Gerhard Marcks in 1959. it was adonation of the city of Hannover for the 600th anniversary of the church.

The door can be accessed all the time for free.
