The 'First' is repeated on a Foundation Stone on the front wall of the church.
The Heritage Listed Saint Andrew's Uniting Church stands on the corner of Pier Street and Saint George's Terrace, across the road from Government House, the official residence of the Governor of Western Australia.
St Andrew's was the focus of Presbyterian activity for much of the twentieth century, but is currently undergoing considerable restoration work to ensure it's preservation. While these works are carried out Saint Andrews congregation will worship in the McNess Centre at the rear of the church at the usual time.
