If you're interested in getting up close and personal with this benchmark, I suggest you bring your own ladder. This one is right where NRCAN says it should be, but the pier it's on is a bit out into the river and stands about 6 or 7 feet above ground. The only sane way to get close is with the use of a ladder or something similar.
Access is from a road that comes off the highway just east of the present highway bridge. Park close to the bridge and you can walk along the Kettle Valley Rail Trail to the pier.
Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera with a zoom with me that day, so the pix are taken from the river bank, as close as I could get.
