In the Milton village of East Milton is the U.S. Post Office, Milton Branch, which has a corner stone on the northeast side (to the left when facing the front entrance).
The Post Office faces Adams Street, and is bound by Hollis Street, Adams Street, and Edge Hill Street. The cornerstone is located near Adams and Edge Hill. It is at the corner, behind an evergreen bush (hence why the picture is at an angle to the stone face), about 2 feet above the ground.
The words on the stone are as follows:
"Henry Morgenthau Jr
Secretary of the Treasury
James A Farley
Postmaster General
Louis A Simon
Supervising Architect
Neal A Melick
Supervising Engineer
1936"
Year of construction: 1938
 Full inscription: Henry Morgenthau Jr
Secretary of the Treasury
James A Farley
Postmaster General
Louis A Simon
Supervising Architect
Neal A Melick
