This sculpture is located on the summit of Sissacherfluh, a ridge north of Sissach. It's on your left at the edge of the wood about half the way from the viewpoint at the rock face to the small restaurant and the castle ruins.

It is made from raw granite rocks and has the shape of tractor tire tracks cut in, so they look like fossils. The title is a play on the words Nautilus and Automobile.

According to the plaque it was created in 1992 by an artist called Rossi, but I could not find any additional information about him or his works.
Title: Autilus

Artist: Rossi

Media (materials) used: Granite

Date of creation or placement: 1992

Location (specific park, transit center, library, etc.): Not listed
