This is Dairy Queen South because a second DQ recently opened on the far north end of the West Side.

The original DQ in Westbank, this was our respite from the heat when we lived there. This place served us a lot of ice cream cones when we were there. Don't know how long it has been there, but it was there when I moved there over 25 years ago.
In the time we lived there, it underwent a couple of renovations to keep it contemporary in appearance. The last renovation, several years ago, included the addition of the sun room at the front, which is a great place to spend time in the spring and fall.
