A leash-free park located beside the Hamilton SPCA on Dartnall Rd. Primarily used for dogs in the shelter, but public can bring their dogs as well.
Level of Enclosure: Completely Enclosed

Description of Enclosure:
The park is actually two separate parks: the top, 1-hectre area is privately owned by the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA, while the natural 2-hectre area below is owned by the City of Hamilton. The SPCA portion is open daily but closes between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm each day so SPCA volunteers can exercise the shelter dogs. Though the SPCA portion is privately owned, the area is governed by City of Hamilton by-laws.
