Above the entrance door of Roman Catholic Liebfrauenkirche church there are two bronze figures of the Holy Virgin and Archangel Gabriel representing the scene of the Annunciation. According to the Gospel of Luke (1,26–38), Archangel Gabriel visted the Holy Virgin in Nazareth and told her she was pregnant by the power of the Holy Spirit and would become the mother of Jesus. The highly abstracted bronze figures by sculptor Hans Grohe (1913-2001) were put up for the 25th anniversary of the church building in 1959.

Über dem Haupteingang der katholischen Liebfrauenkirche befinden sich links und rechts zwei Bronzefiguren der Heiligen Jungfrau und des Erzengels Gabriel, die die Verkündigungsszene darstellen. Nach dem Lukasevangelium (1,26–38) besuchte der Erzengel Gabriel die Heilige Jungfrau in Nazareth und verkündete ihr, dass sie Kraft des Heiligen Geistes schwanger sei und die Mutter von Jesus werden würde. Die stark abstrahierten Bronzefiguren des Bildhauers Hans Grohe (1913-2001) wurden 1959 zum 25. Jahrestag der Fertigstellung des Kirchengebäudes angebracht.
