The Volkssternwarte Ubbedissen is the observatory of the Naturwissenschaftliche Verein für Bielefeld und Umgegend e.V., a natural science society. It is on the roof of Haus Ubbedissen, an old people's home and community care center in Ubbedissen, borough of Bielefeld. From outside, only the dome is visible. The observatory was opened in 1996 and is open to the public every friday from 20:00-22:00 hrs September to April and 19:00-21:00 hrs May to August.

Die Volkssternwarte Ubbedissen ist das Observatoriums der AG Astronomie im Naturwissenschaftlichen Verein für Bielefeld und Umgegend e.V. Sie wird von Hobbyastronomen betrieben und befindet sich auf dem Dach von Haus Ubbedissen, einem Diakoniezentrum und Seniorenwohnheim in Ubbedissen, einem östlichen Stadtteil von Bielefeld. Von außen ist nur die Kuppel sichtbar. Die Sternwarte besteht seit 1996 und ist jeden Freitagabend für das interessierte Publikum geöffnet: Von September bis April 20:00-22:00 Uhr und von Mai bis August 19:00-21:00 Uhr.
