Das Bronzestandbild

Das Bronzestandbild wurde vom Bildhauer Prof. Walter Arnold (1909-1979) entworfen und in der Leipziger Bronzebildgießerei Noack gegossen.
Das Clara-Zetkin-Denkmal wurde am 3. Juli 1967 anlässlich des 110. Geburtstages der Geehrten enthüllt.
Ca. 3 Meter hohe Bronzestatue des Bildhauers Walter Arnold und links nach hinten versetzt Betonstele mit Inschrift. Inschrift auf der Stele:
»Ich will dort kämpfen, wo das Leben ist. Alle große Kunst lebt von dem geistigen Herzblut einer großen Gemeinschaft.

Clara Josephine Zetkin, geb. Eißner (* 5. Juli 1857 in Wiederau, Amtshauptmannschaft Rochlitz, Königreich Sachsen; † 20. Juni 1933 in Archangelskoje, Oblast Moskau, Sowjetunion), war eine sozialistische deutsche Politikerin, Friedensaktivistin und Frauenrechtlerin. Sie war bis 1917 aktiv in der SPD und in dieser Partei eine markante Vertreterin der revolutionär-marxistischen Fraktion. 1917 schloss sie sich der SPD-Abspaltung USPD an. In der USPD gehörte sie zum linken Flügel bzw. zur Spartakusgruppe (1918 umbenannt in Spartakusbund). Danach war sie ein einflussreiches Mitglied der Kommunistischen Partei Deutschlands (KPD). Während der Weimarer Republik war sie von 1920 bis 1933 Reichstagsabgeordnete[1] für die KPD und 1932 Alterspräsidentin des Parlaments.
Auf übernationaler Ebene gehörte Zetkin als Beteiligte am Internationalen Arbeiterkongress von 1889 in Paris zu den Gründern der Zweiten Internationale der sozialistischen Arbeiterbewegung. In der Arbeit für die Internationale gilt sie als prägende Initiatorin des Internationalen Frauentags. Als Angehörige der Zentrale bzw. des später als Zentralkomitee bezeichneten Vorstandsgremiums der KPD war sie von 1921 bis 1933 Mitglied im Exekutivkomitee der Kommunistischen Internationale (EKKI), wo sie in ihren letzten Lebensjahren zur Minderheit der Kritiker der letztlich von Stalin vorgegebenen Sozialfaschismusthese gehörte. The bronze statue

The bronze statue was designed by the sculptor Prof. Walter Arnold (1909-1979) and was poured in the Leipzig bronze picture foundry Noack.
The Clara Zetkin monument was revealed on the 3rd of July, 1967 on the occasion of the 110th birthday of the honoured.
Approx. 3 meter high bronze statue by sculptor Walter Arnold and left set back concrete stele with inscription. Inscription on the stele:
"I want to fight where life is. All great art thrives on the intellectual heart and soul of a great community.

Josephine Clara Zetkin, born Eißner (born July 5, 1857 in Wiederau, Official Main Team Rochlitz, Kingdom of Saxony, † 20 June 1933 in Arkhangelskoye, Moscow Oblast, Soviet Union) was a socialist German politician, peace activist and feminist. She was active until 1917 in the SPD and in this party a prominent representative of the revolutionary Marxist faction. In 1917 she joined the SPD elimination USPD. In the USPD it belonged to the left wing and the Spartacus League (1918 renamed Spartacus). Afterwards, she was an influential member of the German Communist Party (KPD). During the Weimar Republic from 1920 to 1933 she was member of Parliament [1] for the Communist Party and in 1932 President of the Parliament age.
At the supranational level Zetkin was a party to the International Labor Congress in Paris in 1889 by the founders of the Second International, the Socialist Workers Movement. In working for the International is regarded as influential promoter of International Women's Day. As members of the center or of later called Central Committee Executive Board of the Communist Party, she was from 1921 to 1933 member of the Executive Committee of the Communist International (ECCI), where she was in her last years in the minority of critics ultimately imposed by Stalin social fascism thesis.
