Sühnekreuze sind mittelalterliche Steinkreuze. Steinkreuze wurden früher dort aufgestellt, wo ein Totschlag oder ein Unfall geschah. Das Steinkreuz diente dem Gedenken an den Toten.

Dieses Sühnekreuz befindet sich am Nordausgang des Ortes in Richtung Ockerwitz, westlich der Straße an der Einfahrt des letzten Gehöftes (Fehrmann).

Das Steinkreuz aus Sandstein stammt aus der Zeit Ende des 15./ Anfang des 16. Jahrhunderts und weist folgende Maße auf: Gesamthöhe: 160cm, Armbreite: 54cm, Stärke: 30cm

Seine Herkunft ist noch unbekannt. Vor etwa 35 bis 40 Jahren wurde es in der Einfahrt zu einem Lagerplatz eingebaut.
