This Is Swatara Forge and is quite large there is a history of it but, I need to research it! It's located just north of parking for City of Lebanon reservoir on Old Forge road east of Pine Grove,Pa.,Schuylkill County,Pa. 17963 and NE of Swatara State Park! And Twin Grove (koa) camping park.

This is an old Iron furnace located near iron,coal,magnatite mines 5 miles west on Gold Mine Rd. It is about 30ft tall and 30 ft wide. It's Located just North of Pa.State Rt.443 on Old Forge Rd. and you park at enterance of the City of Lebanon's water reservoir by taking Road behind locked gates! Path on side! Your there as a guest of City of Lebanon, So don't abuse the privelege! No Swimming in reservoir. You can walk past the forge up road to view reservoir and spillway(stick your feet in river or spillway but, Not Dam!
Just up from Forge are two buildings,behind them is a dirt road and trail! dirt road up and left to nearby Swatara forge Geocache and up dirt road and right is trail to High Bridge & Papa Smurff Geocaches!
