NZ1016 - NGS 'P 784' Metal Rod - Klamath County, OR - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

I recovered the National Geodetic Survey metal rod in good condition. There is an orange carsonite witness post near the access cover that makes recovery of this station much easier. The NGS datasheet description is adequate for station recovery with the exception that the Fire Road 40-6E-4 is also known as Camp 3 Reservoir Rd. The NGS coordinates are slightly off but my posted coordinates will place you very close to this station.

NOTE--ACCESS TO THE DATUM POINT IS THROUGH A 5-INCH LOGO CAP.
