I recovered the National Geodetic Survey metal rod in good condition. There is an orange carsonite witness post near the access cover that made recovery of this station even possible. The access cover is covered by a thick manzanita shrub which made it very difficult to access the station. The NGS datasheet description is adequate for station recovery. The NGS coordinates are slightly off but my posted coordinates will place you very close to this station.
