This NGS benchmark is located just south of Hwy 66 (Green Springs Hwy) in Jackson County, OR.

This NGS U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey benchmark from 1931 was recovered in good condition. This benchmark is also listed on a topography map as 'BM 4332'. There is also the elevation stamping of '4331.530' on the disk face, along with the designation and year. There is an orange carsonite witness post near the station that makes for easier recovery. The NGS datasheet description is very adequate for station recovery.

RECOVERY NOTE BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1988 RECOVERED IN GOOD CONDITION. NEW DESCRIPTION FOLLOWS. 19.6 KM (12.20 MI) EASTERLY ALONG STATE HIGHWAY 66 FROM THE SCHOOL HOUSE IN LINCOLN, 7.0 M (23.0 FT) SOUTH OF THE CENTERLINE OF THE HIGHWAY, 0.5 M (1.6 FT) BELOW THE LEVEL OF THE HIGHWAY, 0.2 M (0.7 FT) NORTH OF A WITNESS POST, AND IN TOP OF A CONCRETE MONUMENT THAT PROJECTS 0.1 M (0.3 FT) ABOVE THE GROUND SURFACE.
