The Stawell station, with Stationmaster's residence above, was built in 1876. The pedestrian bridge, which crossed the lines from opposite Victoria Street was removed in 1991. Renovations have been made to the station which was re-opened in 2010. The former residence now houses the Stawell Railway Station Art Gallery.
