This memorial is found in the Maple Hill Cemetery on Hwy. 169 southwest of town. The words are engraved on granite marker in the veterans section where the American and POW/MIA flags wave above it. Above the words are the symbols of the eagle, wreath, star and two crosses. The text reads:

"In abiding love, gratitude, and honor, the people of Hibbing dedicate this memorial to the men and women who served their country in all wars."

The memorial was placed there in 1956 by the Veterans Memorial Fund Committee.
