This 30 foot tall sculpture was created by artist Pete Beeman and is located across from the iconic Portland used bookstore called Powells Books. There is a busy buss stop near the POD. When the wind blows, the titanium "whiskers" move about, and make a whoosing or ringing sound. It is kinetic, and passerbys (or folks waiting for the buss) often push the large bulb at the bottom of the sculpture to make it start moving.
