This water tower is located in an open field on the east side of South Dakota Highway 240 just south of the Interstate Highway 90 Exit 110 interchange on the south side of Wall, South Dakota.

This modern golf-ball-on-a-tee style water tower may be the water storage facility for the small community of Wall. Wall draws huge numbers of visitors due to Wall Drug, an eclectic mish-mash of museum, souvenir store, general store, jewelry shop, drugstore and its fame for serving free glasses of water to the thirsty traveler.
