The small statuary depicting a naked man and a woman is located in Jirasek's park in Hradec Králové, just a few meters from the confluence of two rivers - the Elbe and the Orlice.
The young sculptor Josef Škoda, a pupil of a famous Czech sculptor Jan Štursa made in 1934 bronze statuary of a naked man with a naked woman lying down on his lap. The statuary represents allegory of the confluence of two rivers depicting just a few meters from the statuary location - the Elbe (Labe) and the Orlice. While the man represents the Elbe river (its name is masculinum in Czech language) the woman represents river Orlice.
