Pontcysyllte Bridge is a bridge between Trevor and Froncysyllte formed of a three arched ashlared sandstone bridge with cutwaters over the River Dee just upstream of the Aqueduct.

A date inscription of 1697 has been recorded, and probably refers to the date of the bridge's construction of which only the south arch and lower part of the the south pier survive. The remainder of the bridge was rebuilt in the 18th Century to a very slightly increased width.
