Huntsville Cemetery is the final resting place for several hundred veterans, from just about every war imaginable in the past 150 years or so. Here is a small monument honoring them and their service to our country.

TO ALL MADISON COUNTY VETERANS WHOSE
SACRIFICES ENABLE US TO ENJOY THE LIBERTY
FREEDOM AND PRIVILEGES WE HAVE TODAY. WE
CANNOT EMULATE THOSE WHO REST HERE BUT WE
CAN CONTINUE TO SHOW THE RESPECT HONOR AND
DIGNITY DUE THEM. PLEASE OBSERVE A MOMENT OF
SILENCE IN THEIR HONOR UPON ENTERING THIS CEMETERY
