There are several Petrosomatoglyphs at the Information Kiosk in the Big Morongo Canyon Preserve on Covington Drive off East Drive in Morongo Valley, California.

These interesting Petrosomatoglyphs are to help you identify different track that you may see in the preserve. These are the two that we liked the most.

This Petrosomatoglyph is an Ant Lion larvae or "Doodle Bug". Its home or trap and its path moving to a new home.

This Petrosomatoglyph is the track of a Deer Mouse that is cut short when it is attacked by a Coyote.

Other tracks include Mountain Lion, Mule Deer, Audubon Cottontail, Bobcat, Raven, Roadrunner, Grey Fox and Desert Bighorn adult with Lamb.
