Described by Coast and Geodetic Survey 1934.
4.7 miles north from Sevier.
4.7 miles north along the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad from the station at Sevier, Sevier County, 396 feet north of milepost 116, 215 feet south of the crossing of State Highway 118, 48 feet east of the centerline of the track, and 2 feet west of the fence. A standard disk, stamped J 31 1934 and set in the top of a concrete post.

The Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad right-of-way has been abandoned and is now a horse pasture. A farmer's access road now follows the approximate path of the railroad roadbed but no other indication of the former roadbed is apparent. Milepost 116 is no longer in existence. Found as described with respect to the crossing of Utah Highway 118 and the fence along the eastern side of the former right-of-way. The top of the square concrete monument is approximately 4 inches above grade.
