A pleasant climb up a viewing tower to see the Heron Nests and the wild life, especially the fresh water birds in the Great Blue Heron Nature Reserve.

Enjoy the relatively easy stair climb up the tower to see up to 100 Heron Nests in the trees to the west - especially in the early spring when the Cottonwood trees are still leafless. Also the view in all the other directions are a treat.
Also walk the many trails (8 km of them) and visit the 2,400 sq. ft. Rotary Interpretive Centre.
