Saint-Alphonse Church was built in Neo-Romanesque style in 1907 and is the largest church in the diocese of Quebec. Located in the center of Thetford Mines, it is considered a masterpiece of architecture and heritage. It has a 32 foot long altar, three jubes, 10 confessionals, many statues and wonderful paintings of the Stations of the Cross. There is a permanent exhibition of clothing and liturgical objects (more than 500).

De style néo-roman, l'église Saint-Alphonse a été érigée en 1907 et est la plus grande église du diocèse de Québec. Située au centre-ville de Thetford Mines, elle est considérée comme un chef-d'oeuvre d'architecture et un joyau patrimonial avec son maître-autel de 32 pieds, ses trois jubés, sa chaire, ses dix confessionnaux, ses statues et ses tableaux.
