Historic Eagle Mountain House & Golf Club exemplifies New England charm. Its century-old history ties the hotel to the region’s heritage and its panoramic views of New Hampshire’s White Mountains. Originally established as a farm, the pastoral building first opened in 1879 with 12 guest rooms, but the original house was destroyed by fire in 1915. The following year the Eagle Mountain House was reborn, boasting 94 guest rooms and luxury suitesvand a 280-foot wrap-around veranda.

The property offers ample evidence of its rich history—pictures of the Eagle Mountain House taken by world-famous photographer Clifton Church grace the walls of the tavern, and the on-property barn — today the Carriage House Ballroom — dates back to the building’s first days.
